MOT testing · Class 1 – 7
Your MOT price, before you book.
Put your registration in, tell us what the vehicle is, and you'll see an itemised price on the next screen. No callback, no "from" pricing.
- DVSA-approved test centre
- Free retest within 10 working days
- Price is the price — repairs quoted separately
Step 1 of 2
Tell us about the vehicle
Four of these fields are required. The rest just means we can confirm your slot straight away instead of ringing you back.
Before you book
The bits people usually ring up to ask
What if it fails?
You get the failure list with every defect graded minor, major or dangerous. Repairs are quoted separately and you're free to take the car elsewhere. If we do the work and the vehicle is back within 10 working days, the retest is free.
How early can I test?
Up to one calendar month minus a day before your current certificate expires, and you keep the original expiry date. Test any earlier and you lose the difference.
Is the price really the price?
Yes. The test fee is fixed and VAT-exempt. The only thing that can change your total is repair work, and that's never done without your say-so.
How long does it take?
Around 45 minutes for a Class 4 with no issues. Book a morning slot and you'll usually have the car back before lunch.
